Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactI can see some improvement in this. First off, the eyes are placed better in the newer one.
The hair looks more natural and less stiff. However it doesn't seem to give as much room for the forehead as it maybe should. The shape of the head is made a bit confusing by the hat as well.
One thing I think you did better in the original than the newer one is the pose. The newer one seems much more stiff whereas the pose in the older one seems a bit more natural.
